Remodeled AAA Office in Central Business District Helps Revitalize Downtown
AAA’s Ribbon Cutting today at 3 p.m., Thursday, October 22
Billings, Mont. 10/22/09 - AAA MountainWest is excited to announce the redesign of their Billings Service Center, located at 3220 4th Avenue N. AAA will officially introduce the renovated Service Center to the community on October 22. AAA is partnering with the Billings Chamber of Commerce at 3 p.m to celebrate the opening of the beautiful new office.
“The Billings AAA Service Center renovation is one example of how AAA strives to meet the needs and expectations of its members,” said Denice Harris, AAA Spokeswoman. “By reinvesting in the Billings Central Business District, AAA hopes to enhance our members’ experience with the new state-of-the-art office space.”
The project consisted of a complete interior and exterior renovation. The original square, white building has been updated with a contemporary tan façade and a stone faced vestibule. The entrance is now centered on 4th Street, enhanced with large windows and a Vintage Venetian tile floor. The ceilings have been raised several feet to create an open and contemporary feel. Members will be greeted by warm colors, inviting decor and a free cup of fresh brewed gourmet coffee. The new design also allows for a second tenant to lease private office space.
The Service Center will remain a full-line office offering AAA memberships, homeowners and auto insurance, and a travel agency. Plus, additional services such as Fee-Free Traveler’s Cheques and other financial services; TripTiks and maps; a Travel Store, and much more.
AAA purchased the property in 1985; at that time the property was actually two separate buildings oriented on 33rd Avenue. That year AAA joined the buildings together and re-oriented the entrance to 4th Avenue.
