Las Vegas Chefs

Las Vegas has attracted some of the country’s finest chefs recently. Even Thomas Keller, who transformed American cuisine with Napa Valley’s French Laundry, has transplanted his French brasserie Bouchon to Vegas’s Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. In the culinary world, Michelin stars mark success, and Keller triumphs as the only American chef awarded three stars for two different restaurants. Here are the famous-chef restaurants in Las Vegas. While you won’t find these famous chefs toiling in the kitchens at their Vegas locations, their inspiration, supervision, and name make these eateries a class act.

Las Vegas Restaurants with Famous Chefs

  • Aureole*: Chef Charlie Palmer has brought his famous New York restaurant to Vegas. Located in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, this sleek restaurant showcases seasonal American cuisine, and boasts a wine tower housing over 9,000 bottles.
  • Nobhill Tavern*:  Chef Michael Mina makes the classic neighborhood bar into a chic restaurant with a friendly local pub or tavern. The fare is down home with tantalizing Nobhill twists. You’ll find this restaurant in the sprawling MGM Grand Hotel and Casino complex.
  • L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon*:  Chef Joël Robuchon brings the famed culinary creations of its namesake to a more relaxed and laid back setting, with an open kitchen and lively dinner theater. This is also at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino .
  • Craftsteak*: Chef Tom Colicchio, a regular on the TV show Top Chef, brings his American steakhouse vision to the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. He showcases Kobe and Wagyu beef, a 200 bottle collection of premium scotches and whiskies, and seasonal sides.
  • Mix*: Chef Alain Ducasse, with international acclaim, opened his first Vegas restaurant on the 64th floor of THEhotel at Mandalay Bay. It sports a 15,000-piece “Champagne bubble” chandelier and a menu with French flair.
  • Andre’s at the Monte Carlo*: Chef Andre Rochat has the most honored and awarded restaurant in Las Vegas. Located inside the AAA Four Diamond Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, it offers French cuisine in an elegant atmosphere.
  • Alize*: Chef Andre Rochat’s restaurant reigns atop the Palms Casino Resort and is one of his trio of French dining establishments. It’s a standout with an astounding wine list of 1,800 wines.
